What Faculty Must Know
(updated August 10, 2007)
Is there a checklist I should read to get ready each semester?
Yes, the Support Portal contains links to not only a Faculty Semester Start Checklist, but also faculty learning paths, request forms, and other information that can help improve your eCourseware experience.
When can I access my course?
- Future live course instances are created by Banner well in advance of the respective semester. Faculty may develop content in the live course instance as soon as they see it is available in their course list.
- Student enrollment for courses is updated daily from Banner. Future courses will show registered students in the Classlist but these students will not have access to the live course instance until 12:01 a.m. on the day semester classes start.
How do I learn eCourseware?
Faculty can learn by following one of the Faculty Learning Paths including logging directly into current semester courses, viewing online tutorials, downloading help documentation (PDF), or checking Ask TOM for specific answers.
Additionally, the Student Interactive Tutorial which contains many examples of actions that are performed by both faculty and student users is also available.
