The purpose of the Technology Fellowship Program (TFP) at The University of Memphis is to recognize, encourage, and reward faculty members who are leaders in the innovative use of technology in teaching and learning. This competitive award is given to ten faculty members a year. The following links will be useful for faculty members going through the TFP program. Vision: Our overall vision of the Technology Fellowship Program will be to create a community of practice where members excel as recognized leaders in technology integration for improved instruction in their fields. Goal: Fellows will create one significant project during this program. The project will focus on a way to enhance instruction for a specific class. The end product will be showcased at the end of the program year. Activities: The program will consist of a hybrid of instructional strategies: face-to-face, hands on labs, and online learning, as well a discussion, collaboration and individual opportunities to brainstorm and investigate practical applications for the use of technology in your teaching. The UoM Technology Fellows Program is one of four Communities of Practice nationally receiving consulting support and the use of iCohere, a virtual collaboration tool, from the EDUCAUSE National Learning Infrastructure Initiative (NLII).
